Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program L. Noise
Page 81
NOISE
Mitigation Measure: Llc(3)
and
Lld(3). Ijmitigations that would reduce exterior noise levels to comply
with the adopted standard (60 dB) cannot jeaslbty be imple-
mented: Require detailed project-specific noise studies for
each development project in en area where [he standard is
exceeded to characterize ooise conditions and to identify the
noise reduction features that moat be incorporated to
achieve acceptable interior noise levels and require incorpo-
ration of those features into construction.
Impact to be Mitigated: Proposed single-family residential development on the Central Parcel
between Bemal Avenue and the south end of the Village Center would be
exposed to a Ldn of greater than 60 dB.
See specifications jor Mitigation Measure LI a(3).
NOTE: IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS MEASURE CONSISTENT WITH THE AUGUST, 2000
SPECIFIC PLAN WILL NOT MITIGATE THIS IMPACT TO ALESS-THAN-
SIGNIFICANTLEVEL INALL LOCATIONS.
Mitigation Measure: Lld(1). Applying the standard jor a Ldn nor in excess of 60 dB:
Increase the height and extend the length of the ooise
mitigation feature proposed for that portion of the Central
Parcel south of the Village Greeu.
Impact to be Mitigated: Proposed single-family residential development on the Central Parcel
between Bernal Avenue and the south end of the Village Center would be
exposed to a Ldn of greater than 60 dB.
See speciJrcalions jor Mitign0on Measure Llc(I).
