As Mr. Jensen agrees to pay for the patching done by our
Street Department, the Council agreed to accept the Tract. RESOLUTION 2277, accepting
Tract 1148 as complete, was adopted, on motion of Councilman Abrott, seconded by Council-
man Cairo and approved by all Councilmen present. A copy of said resolution is to be
given to Mr. Jensen in the morning.
On motion of Councilman Cairo, seconded by Councilman Hansen, and approved by all Council-
men present, Mr. Oxsen was requested to refund $16.00 to Mr. Russ Maita (which is the
amount of his business license) tp comply with the City Attorney's opinion.
Mr. Pete Christesen appeared before the Council at their request to discuss the uniform
building code. It was Mr. Christesen's suggestion that a zoning law for one family
units would settle the matter of set back from the property line; however, for the time
being he would recommend amending certain sections of the building code to read that any
building must have a 15 oot sptbcckf e o eAproperty line, and there must be 10 feet
between houses. rfIr. ti en a o po stes he Council about the condition of the
sidewalk in from of his building at 720 Main St. He stated that. the Town neglected
to repair the sidewalk after installing meters a year ago. They have agreed that it
would be their responsibility if there was any further trouble of the above nature. Mr.
Oxsen was requested to obtain a written statement from either Jacuzzi Bros. of Chris M.
Bach Co.
Mr. Oxsen reported that he had contacted Mr. Ramseier regarding the capacity of the
Sewer Farm. It was Mr. Ramseier's opinion that the System should take a domestic load
of 3,000 to 4,000 people. He suggested that perhaps another areation tank would be better
than another filter to increase the capacity and will survey the matter if the Council
desires.
