180 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 20$ "REGULATING THE SPPED OF RAILROAD TRAINS IN THE TOWN OF <br />PLEASANTON" was given a second reading, and on motion of Councilman Oxsen, <br />seconded by Councilman Brenner, was adopted by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmen Brenner, Hansen, Oxsen, Toney, Trimingham <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2043 authorizing a first progress payment to Peter Sorensen <br />in the amount of $79,609.57, for work performed on the sewage plant con- <br />tract, was adopted on motion of Councilman Toney, seconded by Councilman <br />Oxsen and approved by all Councilmen. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2044 authorizing payment to R. E. Ramseier in the amount of <br />$167.34 for inspection services provided on the sewage plant contract for <br />the period May 26 to June 30, was adopted on motion of Councilman Toney, <br />seconded by Councilman Brenner and approved by all Councilmen. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2045 authorizing a progress payment to R. E. Ramseier in the <br />amount of $192.19 for engineering services on construction of the sewage <br />plant, was adopted on motion of Councilman Toney, seconded by Councilman <br />Oxsen and approved by all Councilmen. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2042 authorizing payment of salaries for the month of June, <br />1949, in the amount of $2,614.50, was adopted on motion of Councilman Oxsen, <br />seconded by Councilman Brenner, and approved by all Councilmen. <br />1 <br />THERE BEING no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 11 :17 P.M. to meet again in regular session at 8:00 P.M. on <br />Monday:; August 1, 1949. <br />Mayor <br />Clerk <br />i <br />
