Definitions The definitions of terms in this section shall apply throughout this Agreement unless their context clearly requires otherwise: Act means the U.S. Housing Act of 1937, as amended, 42 U.S.C. 1437, as amended. Agreement means this Owner /Grantee Agreement, entered into by the Grantee and the Owner pursuant to Article V of the Grant Agreement. Application means the Application for Federal Assistance approved by HUD for the Project and such other submittals as are specified in Exhibit A of the Grant Agreement. Chief executive officer of the Grantee means the elected official, or the legally designated official, who has the primary responsibility for the conduct of that entity's governmental affairs, and who has or shall have executed the Grant Agreement. Grant Agreement means the Agreement between HUD and the Grantee and any amendments thereto through which the HDG funds are granted, executed in accordance with Subpart D of 24 CFR Part 850. Grant Funds means those funds to be provided by HUD to the Grantee pursuant to the terms of the Grant Agreement, as specified in section 1.01 of the Grant Agreement and section 1.1(A) of this Agreement.
