TVTC 2009 Strategic Expenditure Plan Update <br /> Updated Project Descriptions August 4, 2009 <br /> reauthorization. Ultimately, the option was approved by voters in 2004 as part of the Contra <br /> Costa Measure J Transportation half cent sales tax program. Some of the major benefits of the <br /> options include: 1) consistent with existing plans; 2) provides additional mobility to transit and <br /> HOV users; and 3) falls within a range of costs that are reasonably encompassed within the <br /> Measure C reauthorization. <br /> The project is one component of the I -680 Carpool Lane Gap Closure/ Transit Corridor <br /> Improvements. <br /> Status: <br /> A draft Project Study Report has been completed. Caftans certification is expected by <br /> September 2009.
