PLEASANTON GARBAGE MODIFICATION AGREEMENT

City projects, which the City Council or City Manager may order removed from any property owned or occupied by the City of Pleasanton, excluding, however, ordinary refuse accumulating on the streets of the City presently removed by the Street Depart- ment within the City of Pleasanton and Kottinger Village. 2. Paragraph 11 (Rates) is amended, in part, as follows: (a) Residential 1 30 gallon can per week 2.45 2 30 gallon can per week 3.90 3 30 gallon can per week 4.40 Each additional 30 gallon can .75 per can Back Yard Service .75 Occasional Cans (once every 3 months) Free Special Haul 2.25 per cu. yd. (b) Commercial or Industrial Units 1 can 1 collection per week 2.75 1 can 2 collections per week 4.00 1 can 3 collections per week No specific rate 1 can 6 collections per week See container rate Special 1 cu. yd. containers 2.75 per cu. yd. Can exceeding 30 gallons .10 per gal. 3. A new paragraph is added as follows: 20. ANNUAL AUDIT. Collector shall cause an annual audit of its books to be undertaken. Said audit shall be conducted by a certified public accounting firm, agreeable to City, and shall conform to normal ac- counting procedures. This annual audit shall be submitted to the City Manager on or before June 1 of each year. In addition, any requests for increases to any of the rate provisions of this agreement shall be accompanied by an audit, subject to the same con- ditions regarding certification by City as specified above for the annual audit. 4. Except as expressly modified herein, the July 12, 1971 agreement between the parties shall remain in full force and effect. The parties hereto cause this agreement to be executed on the day and year first above written.
