Postal Service
Natalie Amos
City of Pleasanton
Planning Commission
Post Office Box 520
Pleasanton, CA 94566-0802
Re: PCUP 296 Summer Time Learning Center
Dear Natalie Amos:
We own and manage the five(5) multi-tenant buildings to the south of the proposed use located
at 1058 and 1062 Quarry Lane and 1032, 1040 and 1048 Serpentine Lane. These are multi-
tenant buildings and home to a wide variety of permitted uses. The allowed uses may include
hazardous materials that are stored and used as permitted by law and local ordinances. We are
also negotiating with AT&T to install a cell site at 1258 Quarry Lane. In talking to AT&T,there
are certain setbacks from schools, housing and other uses that they must comply with. Our site
currently meets the necessary requirements as we understand them.
We want to make sure we can continue to lease the property to all uses as allowed by the current
ordinances. This would include the uses that have requested and received conditional use
permits. We would not want to incur any additional restrictions or delays in processing because
of the proposed learning center. If we, or any of our current or future tenants, may face any
additional restrictions, have conditional use permits delayed or denied, or types of uses restricted
or denied because of a learning center next door, we must then object.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
//I-
BIG TtL/
Jack W.
