To: EPSP Task Force
From: Erin Kvistad
Date: 6/6/2013
Re: Comments to Meeting Agenda
Comments:
Is each of the 4 plans mutually exclusive or can we still work on combining various
features from the 4 plans? All the comments seem to pick one plan over another(primary
reason seemed to be for RHNA numbers/percentages) rather than taking the best of each
plan and working to develop a better plan.
Plan 1:
• Most favored by the residents of my Ironwood neighborhood due to the lowest
RHNA number. The neighbors are concerned that this area is taking the brunt of
the RHNA responsibility.
• The placement of the high density housing at Stanley and El Charro is preferred.
The Busch RoadNalley placement is less optimal, but better on the outskirts of
the plan area than in the middle.
Plan 2:
• The high density housing placed in the middle is NOT preferred. All of the
remaining neighborhoods and streets will be heavily impacted by this design.
Plan 3:
• Why do we have to go from 3DU/AC to 23? Can't the 23 DU/AC be 8 or II? Or
even just 3, if we leave in the 30? Converting the 23 to 3, 4 or 8, this plan would
still considerably contribule to the RHNA.
• With this much density, Boulder needs to be extended as well to absorb some of
the traffic.
Plan 4:
