The proposal does not
include the construction of any new streets in Hacienda.
If the build-out of these sites requires a new application for development, the application would be reviewed by
the Planning Commission at a publically noticed hearing. New projects would be required to address traffic
changes and the potential impacts to noise, vibration, potential pollution, etc., and would be addressed with the
proposed project's design and/or conditions of approval. It is also at this stage where any public concerns
pertaining to the proposed project would be addressed. Property owners within 1,000 feet of the development
proposal would receive a copy of the public hearing notice.
Respectfully,
Marion Pavan
Associate Planner
From: Yevgeniy Berenshteyn fmailto:vberenshtevn©amail.coml
Sent: Tuesday, October 08, 2013 1:40 PM
To: Marion Pavan
Subject: Pleasanton Planning Commission public hearing 10/09/2013
To: Marion Pavan
Hello,
We, Yelena and Yevgeniy Berenshteyn, would like to present our concerns to the Pleasanton Planning
Commission. As the commission considers the application for a modification to the Development Agreement
for the properties in close proximity to Hacienda Drive and Gibraltar Drive, the impact of the proposed changes
should be evaluated taking into account the changes that we observed over the years of living in the
neighborhood adjacent to these streets.
During the last 14 years, the level of pollution from the passing traffic grew quite noticeably. The same is true
for the levels of noise and vibration resulted from the heavily loaded trucks on Hacienda Drive. Our property is
located within few yards from the street, and we would like to know if the Commission plans to answer the
following questions:
How the changes would affect intensity of traffic on the nearby streets?
1
