The goals of the Guidelines are to provide a <br /> user-friendly guide to residents and builders, simplify compliance monitoring for the Planning <br /> Division, and ensure landscapes are developed in a sustainable fashion with Pleasanton's <br /> climate in mind. <br /> To model these Guidelines and set the tone of the appropriate landscaping in the Pleasanton <br /> area, it is recommended to consider areas of City landscaping not utilized for sport activities to <br /> be redesigned under the Guidelines recommendations.
