—9— SB 1262 <br /> 1 • . . . . . - . . – •. : . <br /> 2 t,f the I L,a1t rand &S ay Cede. <br /> 3 (a) "Bureau" means the Bureau of Medical Marijuana <br /> 4 Regulation in the Department of Consumer Affairs. <br /> 5 (b) -Certified testing laboratory" means a laboratory that is <br /> 6 certified by the bureau to perform random sample testing of <br /> 7 marijuana pursuant to the certification standards for these facilities <br /> 8 promulgated by the bureau. <br /> 9 (c) "Dispensary"means a distribution operation that provides <br /> 10 marijuana or marijuana derived products to patients. <br /> 11 (d) "Fund.' means the Medical Marijuana Regulation Fund <br /> 12 established pursuant to Section 18101.4. <br /> 13 (e) "Licensed cultivation site" means a facility that grows <br /> 14 marijuana for medical use and that is licensed pursuant to this <br /> 15 part. <br /> 16 (J) "Licensed dispensing facility"means a dispensary or other <br /> 17 facility that provides marijuana for medical use that is licensed <br /> 18 pursuant to this part. <br /> 19 (g) "Licensed processing facility" means a facility where <br /> 20 marijuana or marijuana products are inspected,packaged, labeled, <br /> 21 or otherwise prepared, warehoused, or stored prior to being <br /> 22 provided to another facility licensed pursuant to this part, to a <br /> 23 patient with a medical marijuana recommendation, or otherwise <br /> 24 distributed, and that is licensed pursuant to this part. <br /> 25 (h) "Licensed transporter" means an individual or entity <br /> 26 licensed by the bureau to transport marijuana to and from facilities <br /> 27 licensed pursuant to this part. <br /> 28 (i) "Marijuana" means all parts of the plant Cannabis sativa, <br /> 29 cannabis indica, or cannabis ruderalis, whether growing or not; <br /> 30 the seeds thereof the resin, whether crude or purled, extracted <br /> 31 from any part of the plant; and every compound, manufacture, <br /> 32 salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of the plant, its seeds, or <br /> 33 resin. "Marijuana"does not include the mature stalks of the plant, <br /> 34 fiber produced from the stalks, oil or cake made from the seeds of <br /> 35 the plant, any other compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, <br /> 36 mixture, or preparation of the mature stalks (except the resin <br /> 37 extracted therefrom),fiber, oil, or cake, or the sterilized seed of <br /> 38 the plant which is incapable of germination. "Marijuana" also <br /> 39 means marijuana, as defined by Section 11018 of the Health and <br /> 40 Safety Code. <br /> 94 <br />
