MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBERS,
I just read in the Independent that you are considering rezoning on BUSH AND VALLEY to allow the building of 25 new
homes.
A 'NO' vote is urged by this 35 year resident of Pleasanton.
Please consider the rash of new building you have already allowed on Bernal next to Safeway, on Stanley Blvd and
Bernal and the impact these new homes will have on traffic, schools, water needs, and quality of life.
Our town is bursting at the seams.
The area around the Centerpoint Church is already a very busy traffic sector with bumper to bumper traffic at many
times of the day.
In fact, trying to drive anywhere in town or on the freeway during am commute times is horrendous.
As residents you must know this from personal experience.
Please don't vote to make it worse.
Our once peaceful town is turning into an infrastructure nightmare because of overbuilding in Pleasanton and Dublin.
How could you ever consider a YES vote in light of water shortages and already propose rate hikes?
Please let reason and common sense prevail and vote to enhance life here, not denegrade it.
CANDYCE ROBERTS MS, RD, CDE
(RETIRED from Valley Care)
C
1
