Subject: FW: More Housing? SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIAL
Provided to the City Council
After Distribution of Packet
Original Message
From:Tracy Dunne Date OCT 0 2 2015
Sent: Friday, October 02,2015 11:47 AM
To: Pleasanton City Clerk;Jenny Soo
Subject: FW: More Housing?
Original Message
From: Debbie Ayres [
Sent: Friday, October 02, 2015 8:16 AM
To: Mayor and City Council <citycouncil @cityofpleasantonca.Rov>
Subject: More Housing?
City Council Members:
Thank you for all of the time you give to making Pleasanton the comfortable city that it is.
More housing? The traffic, infrastructure and "feel" cannot handle it.Why continue to build if it is not necessary?
I remember choosing to live in Pleasanton because as I exited on Bernal there was"Open space".We had an open
feeling toward the Ridge and a huge agricultural grass field across from the fairgrounds. The grass would get cut down &
bundled each fall. I would borrow a truck to pick up bales of hay to use for teaching archery @ the CA School for the
Deaf.
Gone are those days. And it will never be that way again for people to see &experience. Instead do we want to feel
congestion?
Please put a halt on large development projects if Pleasanton has already met its quotas for low income housing, etc.
Thank you.
Debbie Ayres
4524 Second Street
1
