SUPPLEMENTAL MA g
Provided to the City Council
Subject: FW: Centerpoint Project After Distribution of Packet
Date OCT 0 2 209
From: Tracy Dunne -
Sent: Friday, October 02, 2015 11:52 AM
To: Pleasanton City Clerk
Subject: FW: Centerpoint Project
From: Laura Wang [
Sent: Friday, October 02, 2015 10:46 AM
To: Mayor and City Council<citvcouncil @citvofpleasantonca.gov>
Cc:Jerry Thorne c jthorne @citvofpleasantonca.gov>; Karla Brown<kbrown @citvofpleasantonca.gov>; Kathy Narum
<KNarum @cityofpleasantonca.gov>;Arne Olson <aolson @cityofpleasantonca.gov>;Jerry Pentin
c jpentin@citvofpleasantonca.gov>
Subject:Centerpoint Project
Dear Members of the Pleasanton City Council,
We are homeowners in Madsen Court adjacent to Centerpoint Church. We are writing to express our support
for the Ponderosa plans to build 25 homes in the Centerpoint Church property. We feel that these homes are
consistent with the rest of the Ironwood community and would complete the neighborhood.
The 1996 General Plan originally called for a 2.5 acre public park and a 6 acre church. With the proposed
Ponderosa homes, we would retain the expanding Montessori school in lieu of the church. Rather than blocking
the homes, perhaps the City Council could look for ways to add a public park near the neighborhood to fulfill
the general plan.
This situation has constraints. However, we feel that the Ponderosa home proposal is the best compromise for
the neighborhood homeowners, the community, and the City of Pleasanton.
Jason Chan and Laura Wang
1040 Madsen Court
Pleasanton, CA
Click here to report this email as spam.
1
