that prides itself on its historical treasures, Centerpointe is not simply a part of our history since 1876, but they are also
a rich part of our present. Ensuring that we keep Centerpointe in Pleasanton seems to me to be far and away of greater
value to our city than whatever negligible negative impact the proposed rezoned land usage may have, if any.
Community Support - Unlike other recent proposed land use changes, this application seems to have virtually no
opposition among those living near the site, or from the vast majority of the community as a whole for that matter.
In summary, this application is deserving of approval because the miniscule potential adverse impact on the community
in the areas of water, traffic and schools are overwhelmingly counterbalanced by the community benefit of helping to
keep a vibrant and historic house of worship in our city. And in this case approving this small residential development
can be made with the support of the surrounding neighbors and the vast majority of the community. How often does
that happen?
While I will be out of town on October 6, I do encourage your approval of the application for rezoning for this site.
Thank you all for your consideration of the points I have raised.
Sincerely,
Georg
George Bowen
Pleasanton, CA 94588
Click here to report this email as spam.
2
