From: Dave
Sent: Sunday,April 09, 2017 7:40 PM
To: Natalie Amos
Subject: Comments regarding P16-1386, P17-0155/PUD-113 and Tract 8259
Ms. Amos,
I have comments regarding P16-1386, P17-0155/PUD-113 and Tract 8259, Ponderosa Homes II, Inc. due to be
discussed at the Pleasanton Planning Commission on April 12, 2017.
I have been working with the Valley Trails Neighborhood Coalition for years. The residents of the Valley Trails
neighborhood have fought inappropriate development of the EVC property at least four times over the years.
This time, the planned development, with option 2 rest rooms, is a good fit for our neighborhood. The
homes, while larger than the surrounding homes, are on large lots, and the daytime rest rooms for our 1/2
mile long park will be appreciated by the people who use the park on a daily basis. VTNC has been holding
meetings with Ponderosa and open meetings with VT residents, and we believe that Ponderosa Homes has
been very generous with the inclusion of the rest rooms and an available meeting room for all homeowners in
the neighborhood, and an additional "kiddie" park near Harpers Ferry Court. In addition, the city itself will
benefit from taxes when these new homes are occupied.
David Pastor OlUi ELEMENTAL WiATERIrAL
Provided to the Planning Commission
After Distribution of Packet
Date Distributed: 4114 In
