MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL Pleasanton, California November 1, 1965 THE CITY COUNCIL met in Adjourned Regular Session at 8:00 P.M. on the above date with Mayor Long presiding. ROLL CALL by the City Clerk evidenced the following attendance: Councilmen Harding, McWilliams and Mayor Long were present. Councilmen Bubics and Cairo were absent. Mr. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Struthers, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, City Engineer, and Mrs. Woodward, City Clerk, were present. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG was led by Mayor Long. MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE COUNCIL. No one addres- sed the Chair. PUBLIC HEARINGS were not scheduled for this meeting. REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS Report of the Plannin: Commission re: Assi_nment of Zonin: Districts to the Area o Annexation No. 34. "Berry Farm" Annex Mr. Fales read the report of the Planning Commission which recommended to the City Council that the area of Annexation No. 34, be zoned C -T, Commercial Thoroughfare District. Mr. Fales suggested that the public hearing on this matter be set for November 15th. It was moved by Councilman Harding and seconded by Councilman McWilliams that the public hearing on the zoning of the area of Annexation No. 34 be set for 8:00 P.M. on November 15, 1965. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Harding, McWilliams and Mayor Long NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmen Bubics and Cairo Report of the Planning Commission re: Assignment of Zoning Districts to the Area of Annexation No. 36. Pleasanton -Sunol Annex "E" Mr. Fales read the report of the Planning Commission which recommended to the City Council that the area of Annexation No. 36 be zoned I -P, Industrial Park District. Mr. Fales suggested that the public hearing on this matter be held on November 15th. It was moved by Councilman McWilliams and seconded by Councilman Harding that the public hearing on the zoning of the area of Annexation No. 36 be set for 8:00 P.M. on November 15, 1965. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Harding,. McWilliams and Mayor Long NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmen Bubics and Cairo Resort of the Planning Commission re; Application of Marie E. Holdener, 6000 Tele- graph Ave., Oakland for an Amendment to Ord. No. 309 rezoning approximately 20 acres located At the intersection of Greenwood Road and Black Ave., from the A to the R -1 District Mr. Fales read the report of the Planning Commission which recommended that this area be rezoned from the A District to the R -1 District. Mr. Fales suggested that the public hearing on this matter be set for November 15th. It was moved by Councilman Harding and seconded by Councilman McWilliams that the public hearing on the rezoning of the Kruse property be held at 8:00 P.M. on November 1, 1965.
