1 <br />1 <br />MINUTES <br />of <br />THE MEETING <br />of <br />THE CITY COUNCIL <br />Pleasanton, California <br />December 27, 1965 <br />THE CITY COUNCIL met in Regular Session at 8:00 P.M. on the above date with Mayor <br />Long presiding. <br />ROLL CALL by the City Clerk -Pro Tem evidenced the following attendance: Councilmen <br />Gerton, Harding, McWilliams and Mayor Long were present; Councilman Bubics was ab- <br />sent. Mr. Fales, City Manager, who also acted as City Clerk Pro -Tem, was present. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG was led by Mayor Long. <br />Mayor Long recessed the meeting at 8:09 P.M. to an Executive Session for the purpose <br />of discussing City Council presonnel appointments to various commissions and commit- <br />tees. <br />Mayor Long reconvened the meeting at 9:20 P.M., whereupon he appointed Councilmen <br />Gerton and Harding as members of the Zoning Ordinance Review Committee. This <br />Committee is to work with members of the City Planning Commission, City staff, and <br />planning consultants in the preparation of a new Zoning Ordinance. <br />Mayor Long indicated that he and Councilman McWilliams would act as alternates on <br />this Committee. <br />There being no further business at 9:25 P.M., it was moved by Councilman Harding, <br />seconded by Councilman McWilliams, and carried, that the meeting be adjourned to <br />meet again in Regular. Adjourned Session at 8:00 P.M. on January 3, 1966. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Gerton, Harding, McWilliams, and Mayor Long <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Bubics <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Helen Woodward, <br />City Clerk <br />J•tin B.
