1 <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br />Councilman McWilliams requested that this meeting.be adjourned to a personnel session. <br />Mayor Long suggested that. hr. Bruner of theEast Bay hunicipal Utilities District be <br />contacted reguarding the possibility of that'.district serving water to the property <br />within the City limits that is bordered by Highway 50. <br />Mayor Long recessed the meeting at 10 :05 P.M. to a personnel session. <br />Mayor Long reconvened the meeting at 10 :10 P.M. <br />It was moved by Councilman. McWilliams and seconded by Councilman Harding that Res- <br />olution No. 65 -83A, increasing the salary of the City Manager to $1,325.00 per month <br />commencing July 1, 1965, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Bubics, Harding, McWilliams and Mayor Long <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Cairo <br />There being no further business Mayor Long adjourned the meeting at 10 :15 P.M. to <br />meet again in Regular Session at 8 :00 P.M. on May 10th, 1965. <br />Respectfully 'submitted <br />Helen Woodward <br />City Clerk <br />John c.
