• Renters who do own property in Pleasanton, should not have been allowed to vote for this proposition
which decided where my tax dollars would be spent; when it has zero affect on them in any financial
way.
• The city is already overcrowded, impacted and this issue has worsened as they years have passed.
I grew up in Pleasanton and I'm now raising my kids here, unfortunately the town is nothing like it used to be.
Pleasanton no longer has the small home-town feel to it because the city streets have become a mass of traffic
gridlock where it now takes me 20-30 minutes to drive from 1st St. to Stoneridge Mall. We've lost every square
inch of rolling hills and land, to prefab stack condos, homes etc and unnecessary retail space. Our city
government is clearly more concerned with their pocketbooks and gaining every cent of funding/revenue they
can, even when it's at the expense of what is best for the city of Pleasanton and its residents.
Each year that passes, this town is being squeezed tighter and tighter financially with regards to what taxpayers
are required to contribute towards and squeezed in the sense that the city has become incredibly impacted with
so many people; that the infrastructure cannot accommodate its residents. Our elected officials should be
making decisions that help to ease the burden that the influx of traffic/housing has created, not adding to it by
building another unnecessary big box retailer.
Respectfully,
Lisa Imperiale
Linkedln
Click here to report this email as spam.
2
