The two incumbents will be transferred from P.C.E.A. to the Local #1974 IAFF Unit. <br /> On August 1, 1997, their base salary (Pleasanton E-Step) will increase 2.1% to D-Step <br /> Inspector on the L.P.F.D. Schedule. They will be eligible to attain E-Step upon <br /> completion of the required technical education for Fire Inspectors per the L.P.F.D. <br /> Career Development Plan. <br /> B. The one Pleasanton Inspector position that is not safety will be transferred to safety <br /> status as soon as it can be done with PERS after January 1, 1997. <br /> C.
