ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT
This proposal is simply consideration for removing the condition of approval prohibiting a
drive-through restaurant use on "Pad B." Any such proposal would be subject to separate
discretionary review by the City, through consideration of a Conditional Use Permit. Since no
development would be considered with this proposal, no environmental document
accompanies this report.
SUMMARY/CONCLUSION
As articulated in the Discussion section, the Planning Commission determined the proposed
PUD Major Modification is acceptable based on changed circumstances since the City Council
initially imposed the condition, and to align the potential uses of this single site with those
allowable elsewhere in the shopping center and the surrounding commercial districts. Based
on the Planning Commission's direction, the draft resolution (Exhibit A) reflects a
recommendation for approval and conditions of approval of the PUD Major Modification to the
City Council.
Primary Author: Eric Luchini, Associate Planner, 925-931-5612 or eluchini(ccityofpleasantonca.gov.
Reviewed/Approved By:
Melinda Denis, Planning and Permit Center Manager
Ellen Clark, Director of Community Development
PUD-89-06-08M, 4210 Rosewood Drive Planning Commission
3 of 3
