c. Such contracts are authorized by Section 51300 et seq. of the <br />Government Code. <br /> <br /> d. The City of Dublin contracts for Animal Control Field Services and <br />Animal Licensing with ~lameda County under a separate agreement. <br /> <br /> THEREFORE, THE PARTIES HERETO AGREE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> I. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED <br /> <br /> OPERATOR agrees to provide animal shelter services to pARTICIPATING <br />ENTrI~-q for animals impounded purs,.~rxt to City ordinance, County codes and State <br />law as provided for in the OPERATOR'S response to request for proposal as modified <br />and included in Attachment A. Such services sb~ll include, but not be limited to, <br />receiving live aninaal~ at the SHELTER; providing live anim~l~ at the SHELTER with <br />food, water, famer and/or veterinary care, euthalaizing animals not otherwise adopted, <br />redeemed, sold or donated to adoption organizations, and disposing of dead anina~l~. <br />OPERATOR sb~ll furnish and supply all necessary labor, supervision, equipment and <br />supplies necessary to maintain the level of services to be rendered hereunder except as <br />otherwise required of pARTICIPATING ENT1TIES in this contract. OPERATOR shall <br /> <br />designate the individual to function as shelter supervisor. <br /> II. PAYMENT FOR SERVICES <br /> 1. The pARTICIPATING ENTITIES shall share in the cost of services provided <br />under this Memorandum of Understanding. Payment shall be based on the <br />pARTICIPATIlqG ENTITIES percentage share of the total number of live animals <br />handled at the SHELTER, in the previous calendar year ending December 31. The <br />method to be used to determine the percentage share for pARTICIPATING ENTITIES <br />is shown in Attachment B.
