~roved a~ ~ ~rm MODIFICATION OF CONTRACT Deputy Coun~ Counsel THIS IS A MODIFICATION OF CONTRACT, executed as of 1981, by and between County of Alameda, hereinafter referred to as "County" and the City of Pleasanton, hereinafter referred to as "City". WI TNESSETH: WHEREAS, the parties hereto have entered into that certain agreement for fire protection services dated March ll, 1974; and WHEREAS, parties to this agreement now wish to make certain changes, extending the contract for one year an~ modifying the payments thereunder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MUTUALLY AGREED that said contract be modified in the following respects: 1. Paragraph 3 of Section II is amended to read as follows: "Notwithstanding other provisions, County will pay the City for services provided for the year beginning July l, 1981, and ending June 30, 1982, the following amounts on December 1 and June l: Service Area Amount County Fire Service Area F-1964-1 (Rennen) $ 1,179.00 County Fire Service Area F-1965-1 (Castlewood) $19,824.50 County Fire Service Area F-1965-2 {Happy Valley) $ 9,780.50 County Fire Service Area F-1965-3 (Stanley Blvd) $ 0 2.
