WHEREAS, in April, 1993 the Alameda County Local Agency Formation <br />Commission adopted Resolution No. 93-04 which, among other things, authorized the <br />dissolution of County Service Areas F-164-1 Remon, F-1965-1 Castlewood, and F-1965-2 <br />Happy Valley, and the creation of Alameda County Fire Zone No. 2 Remon, Alameda <br />County Fire Zone No. 3 Castlewood, and Alameda County Fire Zone No. 4 Happy <br />Valley without modification to or alteration of any of the existing County Service Area <br />boundary lines. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the COUNTY and the CITY, as parties hereto, agree as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. Para,apb 1 SCOPE is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) The CITY agrees to provide fire protection services within the County Fire <br /> Service Zones referenced as Zone 2 Remon, Zone 3 Castlewood and Zone 4 <br /> Happy Valley. <br /> <br /> (b) The CITY Fire Department shall respond within the County Fire Service <br /> Zones in the same manner, using the same procedures, and providing to the <br /> extent possible the same kind of services as are provided within the CITY. <br /> <br />2. Paragraph 2 PAYMENT is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) For services rendered during fiscal year 1994-95, one lump sum payment <br /> will be made by the COUNTY to the CITY, no later than September 1, 1995, in an <br /> amount equal to the total actual 1993-94 Current Secured Property Tax receipts <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
