MODIFICATION OF CONTRACT THIS IS A MODIFICATION OF CONTRACT, executed as of ,.~.]~7~?f~.~ ) , 1979, be and between County of Alameda, hereinafter referred to as "County" and the City of Pleasanton, hereinafter referred to as "City". WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, the parties hereto have entered in that certain agreement for fire protection services dated March ll, lg79; and WHEREAS, parties to this agreement now wish to make certain changes, extending the contract for 6 months and modifying the payments thereunder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MUTUALLY AGREED that said contract be modified in the following respects: 1. Paragraph 3 is added to Section II to read as follows: "Notwithstanding other provisions, County will pay the City for services provided for the six months beginning July l, 1979, and ending December 31, 1979 in the following amounts on December l, 197g. Section V, Term of Agreement, is amended to read as follows: "This agreement shall be effective for 5 and 1/2 years beginning July l, lg74, and terminating on December 31, 1979.
