MODIFICATION OF CONTRACT <br /> <br /> THIS IS A MODIFICATION OF CONTRACT, executed as of the ~'F day <br />of ~, 1985, by and between the County of Alameda, hereinafter <br />referred to as "County" and the City of Pleasanton, hereinafter referred to as <br />"City". <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the parties hereto entered into that certain agreement for fire <br />protection services dated March ll, 1984, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, parties to this agreement now wish to make certain changes <br />extending the contract for one year and modifying the payments thereunder. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MUTUALLY AGREED that said contract be modified in <br />the following respects: <br /> <br /> 1. Paragraph 3 of Section ll is amended to read as follows: <br /> "Notwithstanding other provisions, County will pay the City for <br /> services provided for the year beginning July l, 1985 and ending June <br /> 30, 1986 the following amounts on December 1 and June l: <br /> <br /> ~pproved as to Form <br />RICHARD J.
