Solid Waste Management. <br /> <br /> Government Code' section 66780 et seq. requires the <br /> <br />preparation, adoption, revision, nmen~ment, administration <br />and enforcement of countywide eolid waste management plans <br />in order to protect the environment and provide for safe, <br />sanitary and economical disposal of solid waste. An <br />objective of this Agreement is to create a city, county, <br />special district waste ~anagement authority responsible for <br />and capable of preparation, adoption, revision, amendment, <br />~A~4nistration, policy-making, budgetary, plan~ing and <br />enforcement of the Alnmeda County Solid Waste Management <br />Plan. <br /> <br /> <br />
