FIRST AMENDMENT TO AFFILIATION AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AFFILIATION AGREEMENT is made October 30, <br />2002 between the Alameda County Medical Center, a public entity created under Health and <br />Safety Code, Section 101850, ("ACMC") and the City of Pleasanton, a Municipal Corporation, <br />with offices at 123 Main Street, Pleasanton, CA 94566 ("Contractor") and amends that certain <br />Agreement between the parties dated July 1, 1999. <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />A. The parties entered into an Affiliation Agreement on July 1, 1999. <br /> <br />B. The Agreement expired on June 30, 2002. <br /> <br /> C. The Parties wish to continue and extend the Affiliation Agreement to June 30, 2003, <br />under the same terms and conditions as provided in the Affiliation Agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. The first sentence of Section 14 (Term of Agreement) is hereby amended to read as <br />follows: "The Agreement shall become effective July 1, 1999 and shall continue until June 30, <br />2003." <br /> <br /> 2. In all other respects, the terms and conditions of the Affiliation Agreement are to <br />continue in full force and effect. <br /> <br /> 3.
