QUALITY~ e~A~TITY~ TII~{ AI~q).~RA!~E 0P DELIVERY Zone 7 sgrees to furnish and provide treated water to Applicant~' and Applicant agrees to purchase and accept treated water under the terms of this contract in accordance with the following specific conditions regsrding the quality~ quantity~ time and rate of delivery of such water: 1. Applicant agrees to purc~_ase from Zone 7 all treated water required by Applicant for use within Applicant's service area as defined in Paragraph B5 and as shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit A and by this reference msde a part hereof~ except that Applicant may produce not more than 2,000 acre-feet (651.7 million gallons) of weter annually for use in Applicant's service area from all sources independeut of Zone % said amo~at of water being hereinafter referred to as the "Independent Quota," except that said Independent Quota may be subsequently modified by amendment under Section J herein. 2. Zone 7 agrees that all water to be delivered by it to Applicant hereunder will be pure~ palatable~ wholesome~ pbtable and healthful and }~11 not constitute a menace or danger to the health or lives of human beings and that all such water will be of such quality that the same may be used for domestic purposes at the point or points of delivery thereof to Applicant. Zone 7 under- stands that Applicant is furnishing water for domestic purposes to customers in its service area and that water to be delivered by it to Applicant hereunder will be delivered by Applicant to said customers. Zone 7 agrees that its system sh~ll be constructed and operated during the term hereof in accordance with a permit issued by the State Department of P~blic Health; a copy of such permit will be furnished to Applicant. Zone 7 further agrees that the treated water to be delivered to A~p!icant pursuant to this contract shall conform to the quality requirements set .forth in said permit.
