SPRING VALLEY-SANFRANCISCO-PLEASANTON WATER RIGHTS <br />Applicant and Zone 7 hereby agree and recognize those certain <br />rights relating to the export of water from the underground water supply of <br />the Livermore-Amador Valley, as said rights are described in Exhibit D. ~hese <br />rights were purchased by the Applicant from the City and County of San Francisco~ <br />and are owned by the Applicant. <br /> <br /> Applicant and Zone 7 further agree that the existence~ recogni- <br />tion~ ownership and use.of said water rights will in no way during the term <br />of this contract be construed as to allow or permit Applicant to exceed <br />Applicant's Independent Quota as set forth in Section B hereof. <br /> <br /> Applicant and Zone 7 further agree that if in Zone 7's opinion <br />utilization of said water rights by Zone 7 at any time during the term of this <br />contract will be of benefit to Zone 7 in providing more effective ~round water <br />basin management, then said water rights may be utilized by Zone 7 for such <br />purpose. <br /> <br />K/1 <br /> <br /> <br />
