CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 78-249 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A MODIFICATION OF AGRE~IENT WITH THE ALAMEDA COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL AND WATER CONSERVATION.DISTRICT FOR THE USE OF CERTAIN FLOOD CONTROL CHANNELS FOR RECREATIONAL PURPOSES ~HEREAS, the City entered into an agreement with the Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District in January 1971, providing for the Recreational Use of the Arroyo del Valle between the Arroyo de la Laguna and Hopyard Road; and I,~{ERF_~S, said agreement provided that additional areas might be added by mutual agreement; and IR{ET, FAS, on October 3, 1978, the City Council at a regular meeting considered a modification to the original agreement of January 1971, to add the Arroyo del Valle from Hopyard Road to Santa Rita Road. ~OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Modification to Agreement between the City of Pleasanton and the Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District adding the Arroyo del Valle from Hopyard Road to Santa Rita Road to the Agreement of January 1971, allowing for the recreational use of District owned properties by the City of Pleasanton is hereby approved and the appro- priate C~ty officers are directed to execute said Modification to Agree- ment. Section 2. This resolution shall take effect i~mediately upon its passage and adoption. THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON OCTOBER 3, 1978, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: AYES: NOES.
