CHAPTER 10 <br />Plan Adoption, Submittal, and Implementation <br />This chapter provides information regarding the notification, public hearing, adoption, and submittal of <br />the City's 2020 UWMP and updated WSCP. It also includes discussion on plan implementation and the <br />process of amending the UWMP and the WSCP. <br />10.1 INCLUSION OF ALL 2020 DATA <br />Because 2020 is the final compliance year for SB X7-7, the 2020 UWMPs must contain data through the <br />end of 2020. If a water supplier bases its accounting on a fiscal year (July through June) the data must be <br />through the end of the 2020 fiscal year (June 2020). If the water supplier bases its accounting on a calendar <br />year, the data must be through the end of the 2020 calendar year (December 2020). <br />As indicated in Section 2.4 of this plan, the City uses a calendar year for water supply and demand <br />accounting; therefore, this 2020 UWMP includes data through December 2020. <br />10.2 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />In accordance with the Act, the City must provide an opportunity for the public to provide input on this <br />2020 UWMP and the WSCP. The City must consider all public input prior to its adoption. There are two <br />audiences to be notified for the public hearing: cities and counties, and the public. <br />10.2.1 Notices to Cities and Counties <br />The City provided greater than a 60 -day notice regarding the preparation of its 2020 UWMP and WSCP to <br />cities and counties in its service area as discussed in Section 2.5 of this plan. In addition, the City provided <br />notices to the following agencies: <br />• Zone 7 Water Agency <br />• Dublin San Ramon Services District <br />• California Water Service - Livermore District <br />• City of Livermore <br />• DERWA <br />The City coordinated the preparation of its UWMP and WSCP update internally, with Alameda County, <br />and with the above listed agencies. The notice of preparation is included as Appendix E. Upon substantial <br />completion of this 2020 UWMP, the City provided the agencies listed above, including internally within <br />the City and Alameda County, notice of public hearing (Appendix Q. <br />Notifications to cities and counties, in accordance with the Act, are summarized in Table 10-1. <br />WEST YOST 10-1 City of Pleasanton <br />2020 Urban Water Management Plan <br />May 2021 <br />
