Develop programs and incentives to maximize opportunities for people employed in Pleasanton to access housing opportunities within Pleasanton. Program -- Explore partnerships with Pleasanton based businesses and commercially zoned property owners to build nonprofit housing to serve Pleasanton's workforce. Share the carbon credits generated to repay costs. On the City's website under Housing Commission, it reads: "The Housing Commission advises the City Council on both the affordable housing needs of the community and the methods for meeting those needs. "The Housing Commission reviews potential affordable housing projects, provides input on policies regarding affordable housing, and promotes community education and awareness of affordable housing programs," You are the experts and the drivers of affordable housing in Pleasanton.
