<br />and vermin. 108
<br />1.7 “Alternative Intermediate Cover” has the same meaning as in Section 20700 of Title 27 of the 109
<br />California Code of Regulations. 110
<br />1.8 “Amendment Commencement Date” means the date specified in Section 3.1 when Contractor 111
<br />shall provide all services required by this Agreement, as amended. 112
<br />1.9 “Appliance” means any domestic or Commercial device, including, but not limited to, a washing 113
<br />machine, clothes dryer, hot water heater, dehumidifier, conventional oven, microwave oven, 114
<br />stove, refrigerator, freezer, air conditioner, trash compactor, and Residential furnace. 115
<br />1.10 “Applicable Law” means all federal, State, and local laws, regulations, rules, orders, judgments, 116
<br />degrees, permits, approvals, or other requirement of any governmental agency having 117
<br />jurisdiction over the Collection, Transportation, Processing, and Disposal of Solid Waste, 118
<br />Recyclable Materials, and Organic Materials that are in force on the Effective Date and as they 119
<br />may be enacted, issued or amended during the Term of this Agreement. 120
<br />1.11 “Approved C&D Processing Site” means the Pleasanton Transfer Station and Material Recovery 121
<br />Facility at 3110 Busch Road in Pleasanton, California, which was selected by Contractor, and 122
<br />approved by the City Manager or their designee. 123
<br />1.12 “Approved Disposal Site” means the Vasco Road Landfill at 4001 N. Vasco Road Altamont 124
<br />Landfill at 10840 Altamont Pass Road in Livermore, California, which was selected by Contractor, 125
<br />and approved by the City Manager or their designee. 126
<br />1.13 “Approved Facility (ies)” means the Approved C&D Processing Site, Approved Transfer Site, 127
<br />Approved Disposal Site, Approved Organic Materials Processing Site, and/or the Approved 128
<br />Recyclable Materials Processing Site, individually or collectively. 129
<br />1.14 “Approved Organic Materials Processing Site” means the Recology Blossom Valley Organics 130
<br />Composting Facility at 3909 Gaffery Road in Vernalis, means the Central Valley Compost Facility 131
<br />at 916 Frewert Road in Lathrop, California, which was selected by Contractor, and approved by 132
<br />the City Manager or their designee. 133
<br />1.15 “Approved Recylable Materials Processing Site” means the City Automatic Recycling, Inc. Facility 134
<br />at 3110 Busch Road in Pleasanton, California, that was selected by Contractor and approved by 135
<br />the City Manager or their designee. 136
<br />“Approved Transfer Site” means the Pleasanton Transfer Station at 3110 Busch Road in Pleasanton, 137
<br />California, which was selected by Contractor, and approved by the City Manager or their designee. 138
