Exercise caution when opening attachments or clicking links, especially from unknown senders. *** Dear Mayor Brown, City Council Members Arkin,Testa, Nibert, Balch, City Manager Beaudin and Staff, Thank you for all your hard work on behalf of the residents to put together a budget that serves the needs and provides all the essential services as well as as a wide variety of recreational and cultural amenities for our community. I was pleased to see our tax dollars going towards expanding and enhancing the "all abilities" skate park,the renovations of the Century House, a historical landmark and revenue generating project,while continuing to work towards good solutions to deliver clean drinking water and the necessary infrastructure needs of our growing city. I was also glad that this year's budget was developed with the hard work of the City's finance department who has earn many years of recognized excellence in financial reporting. Putting together a good budget is a complex accomplishment of staff but it also takes the willingness by our City Leaders to put aside politics and work collaboratively to achieve the final approval of the budget as our representatives on the Council.Thank you for spending so much time and effort to acquaint yourselves with the many aspects of government, seeking input from recognized experts, making tough decisions and then sharing information that's accurate and useful with the residents on your position. Pleasanton is a unique and safe community in which to live thanks in part to the caliber and accessibility of the City Staff and our City Leaders. .—J have enjoyed working with staff members of the Library and Recreation Department over the years on various projects such as providing more public art and cultural celebrations within our community.
