ATTACHMENT 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 23- <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF AN AGREEMENT WITH SUN RIDGE SYSTEMS INC. <br />TO PURCHASE A REPLACEMENT COMPUTER-AIDED DISPATCH AND RECORDS <br />MANAGEMENT SYSTEM THROUGH A FIVE-YEAR LEASE-PURCHASE TERM IN <br />THE AMOUNT OF $1,434,360 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton relies on the computer-aided dispatch and records <br />management system software to provide public safety 911 police services, maintain police <br />records as required by statute and regulation to support police operations; and <br />WHEREAS, through an RFP process, Sun Ridge Systems Inc. was selected by staff as <br />the preferred vendor; and <br />WHEREAS, Sun Ridge Systems Inc. complies with state statutes and regulations, <br />provides operational enhancements, and allows for data sharing amongst regional law <br />enforcement agencies; and <br />WHEREAS, in selecting Sun Ridge Systems Inc. the City will reduce maintenance fees <br />by over $150,000 annually. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. Authorizes the City Manager, or his/her designee, to enter into a contract with <br />Sun Ridge Systems Inc. on the City’s behalf and execute all related documents required for the <br />contract, including any amendments thereof. <br />SECTION 2. Agrees that the City of Pleasanton will abide by the terms and conditions of <br />the contract. <br />SECTION 3.
