• <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 93-84 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND <br /> DELIVERY OF A JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS <br /> AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON AND THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton (the "City") and the Housing <br /> Authority of the City of Pleasanton (the "Housing <br /> Authority") desire to create and establish, pursuant to <br /> the laws of the State of California, the Pleasanton Joint <br /> Powers Financing Authority (the "Authority") ; and <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this meeting a proposed form <br /> of Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement, dated as of <br /> June 29, 1993 (the "Agreement") , by and between the City <br /> and the Housing Authority, which Agreement creates and <br /> establishes the Authority; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: The proposed form of Agreement, on file with the City <br /> Clerk and incorporated into this Resolution by reference, <br /> is hereby approved. The Mayor is hereby authorized to <br /> execute, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to <br /> attest, seal and deliver, the Agreement, in substantially <br /> said form with such changes or additions thereto that may <br /> hereafter become necessary in the interests of the City, <br /> any such additions or changes to be conclusively <br /> evidenced by the execution and delivery of the Agreement. <br /> Section 2 : This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br /> REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br /> A MEETING HELD ON JUNE 29 , 1993 , BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Mohr, Pico, Scribner, and Mayor Tarver <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Dennis <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Peggy L..
