Decision Not to Prepare Subsequent EIR <br /> <br />Addendum to the City of Pleasanton Downtown Specific Plan Final Environmental Impact Report 15 <br />4 Decision Not to Prepare Subsequent EIR <br />As outlined in Section 15164 of the CEQA Guidelines, a lead agency shall prepare an addendum to a <br />previously certified EIR if some changes or additions are necessary, but none of the conditions <br />described in CEQA Guidelines Section 15162 calling for preparation of a subsequent EIR have <br />occurred. <br />The impact analysis that follows demonstrates that the Barone’s project would not introduce new, <br />significant environmental impacts beyond those that have already been identified and characterized <br />in the Final EIR and that there are no substantial changes in the project or circumstances or <br />substantially important new information that would cause the project to have significant new <br />impacts or substantially increase previously identified significant impacts. None of the conditions <br />described in CEQA Guidelines Section 15162 that would call for preparation of a subsequent EIR <br />have occurred or would occur because of the Barone’s project. Therefore, this addendum is the <br />appropriate level of environmental documentation to provide under CEQA. The City of Pleasanton <br />will include this addendum, along with the Final EIR for the DSP, in its consideration of the Barone’s <br />project.
