2. Val Vista Underdrain Project: Construction was completed to meet Regional Water Quality
Board requirements, redirecting recycled water drainage to sewers rather than storm drains.
3. Soundwall Replacement: Critical soundwalls were prioritized for replacement. Design began
on the Valley Avenue soundwall, with construction planned for FY 2025/26. Carryforward
funds will allow the entire project to be completed without phasing, reducing costs.
4. Climate Action Plan Implementation: Initially slated for defunding, this project received
updated funding due to new air quality regulations requiring fleet electrification. Plans include
designing and constructing two City fleet charging centers at the City's downtown campus and
Public Works yard.
5. ADA Transition Plan: Set to begin in 2025, this plan will use AMP data to design a citywide
ADA compliance plan for all public buildings, parking lots, sidewalks, and curb ramps.

Transportation & Streets CIP Program
Table 7 summarizes the full list of Transportation & Streets CIP projects that had a budget in
FY 2023/24, actual expenditures if any, and recommended carryforwards.

Table 7 – Transportation & Streets CIP Projects
Page 266 of 658
