Location and Notification Map STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends the Planning Commission approve Conditional Use Permit (CUP) Case No. P24-0635 and Design Review Case No. P24-0636 based on the findings and subject to the draft conditions of approval in Exhibit A. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The applicant, Tong Wang for Tri-Valley Bread of Life Christian Church, requests approval of a CUP (P24-0635) and Design Review (P24-0636) to operate a religious facility, within an existing building at 6622 Owens Drive, and to modify an existing roll-up door to a storefront window. Religious facilities require Planning Commission approval of a CUP at this location. As proposed, staff recommends the Planning Commission find this use is consistent with the objectives of the zoning district and will be compatible with the surrounding uses. There are other similar religious facilities within Pleasanton Park approved by the Planning Commission and have been operating without any reported issues. Conditions of approval have been included which will ensure the safety and general welfare of the surrounding area, and the City in general, is maintained.
