Cheza Nami and Pleasanton Unified will collaborate to co-promote, market and recruit <br />families for the Black Excellence Program. Cheza Nami will create the print and digital <br />media used to promote the program, while PUSD staff will use that media to promote the <br />program. Pleasanton Unified is responsible for identifying priority participants and the <br />registration/enrollment process. <br />Explain how this project will be implemented and include a brief timeline for <br />implementation. <br />Planning for the Black Excellence program will begin in the summer of 2024 and the <br />monthly sessions will begin in September of 2024. Please see our implementation timeline <br />below: <br />July 2024-August 2024: In collaboration with PUSD staff, Cheza Nami will review the Black <br />Excellence Program sessions of the 23-24 school year and analyze family feedback. We <br />will develop updated goals for the 24-25 school year. During this time, Cheza Nami will <br />create print and digital promotional materials for the program and begin to book presenters <br />for the first school semester (September-December), and PUSD will reserve facilities and <br />identify our priority families. <br />September 2024- December 2024: PUSD will register and enroll families. Our bi-weekly <br />sessions will start in September. Cheza Nami will solicit feedback from families after each <br />session and adjust programming to meet the needs of the children and their <br />parents/guardians. <br />January 2025 - May 2025: Sessions will continue, with Cheza Nami and PUSD <br />collaborating on adjustments as needed based on family feedback and programmatic <br />considerations. <br />May 2025 - July 2025: Cheza Nami and PUSD will debrief the program, collect and analyze <br />qualitative and quantitative feedback data and identify funding sources (if any) for the <br />following school year. <br />Identify the organization(s) that your agency will partner with on this project.
