3-7 <br />3 <br />neighborhood PARK <br />3.2.4 <br />DETENTION BASIN/OPEN GRASS AREA <br />The 3.5 - acre detention basin in the neighborhood park would collect run- <br />off from the adjacent development after it has been collected and cleaned. <br />The basin would function as a hydrological modification structure. When the <br />grass area is not inundated, it would provide additional space for informal <br />play, including dog walking. The basin design will require further study when <br />engineering data is available.
