I’m not alo ne; many <br />r es idents ar e s uffer ing in s ilence. <br />T he C ity of Pleas a nto n has co ns ider ed addr es s ing the is s ue for at <br />leas t 20 year s but has depr io r itized it. We s houldn’t wait another 20 <br />ye ar s . <br />We’ve dis cus s ed the is s ue with our C ity Tr a ffic Enginee r and found <br />po te ntial low-cos t options that could make Pleas a nto n a Q uie t Z o ne. <br />Funding a Q uiet Z one co uld have a s ignificant im pact o n r es idents ’ <br />live s . <br />Es ta blis hing a Q uiet Z o ne is not only a Q uality of Life is s ue but als o <br />a s ign of pr o gr es s ivenes s and a comm itm ent to m eeting r es ident <br />dem ands . <br />I can’t imagine 25 year s late r , s till deliber ating while r es idents <br />co ntinue to be im pacted.
