The libar y <br />is the mos t us ed city facility in Pleas anton. My favor ite s er vices is <br />a udio bo o ks o n Libby, checking o ut bo o ks , and us ing it as a place to <br />s tudy. It is an es s ential s pa ce for our co m munity. It is valuable <br />P leas anto n r e s ide nts , es pe cially ones who m ay no t have anywher e <br />e ls e s afe to go . When citizens a r e at the libr a r y they ar e not only <br />s afe , but the y ar e impr o ving them s elves . T he libar y s uppor ts o ur <br />mos t vulner able co mmunities , es pe cially childr en. P ar t of wha t <br />make s P leas anto n an attr active place to live is the public s e r vices , <br />including the highly r anke d public educatio n. Without a s pace to s tudy <br />a nd gather a ny day o f the week, P le as anton will loos e o ne o f its <br />mos t attr active qualities . Ther e is no other s pace that r e plicates the <br />co mmunity e xper ience o f a libr ar y. Witho ut community and s tr ong <br />public s er vices , P leas anton has no thing.
