As a parent, husband of a <br />teacher, father of a student, and member of the local business <br />community, we see the library as an essential resource for our <br />students. I go there often in the early evenings and am impressed <br />by the energy, enthusiasm, and sense of community among the <br />students who are there for group study. This can't be reproduced in <br />any other setting and is to a large part responsible for the <br />performance of our schools. These kids are the doctors who will one <br />day treat us, please let's make sure that we prepare them to be <br />what we need them to be. <br />
