The current
unimproved site has been used by Construction Crane Company, operating
under a short-term lease, as an outdoor storage yard.
The project site is bordered to the southwest by CubeSmart Self Storage,
Pleasanton Ready Mix Concrete, Inc., and Valley Avenue. The project site is
bordered to the north by Busch Road and Ironwood residential community
on the north side of Busch Road along with the City of Pleasanton Public
Works Departments and its service facilities, including a training facility for the
Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department (LPFD) and a shooting range for
Pleasanton Police Department. The project site is bordered to the east by
vacant land and Pleasanton Garbage Service, Inc. A Removal Action Workplan (RAW) was
prepared to address contaminants at the site, and the DTSC has determined
that all appropriate response actions have been completed, that all
acceptable engineering practices were implemented, and that no further
removal is necessary.1

1 California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC).
