City of Pleasanton—Villages at the Quarry Project
15183 Consistency Checklist Consistency Checklist

243
exacerbated. Thus, the Housing Element Update FEIR concluded that
impacts would be less than significant.
Proposed Project Analysis and Conclusion
The proposed project is not located in a VHFHSZ and is not located in an LRA
or an SRA. As described in Impact VII(c) Geology, Seismicity, and Soils, the
project site is flat and is not at risk for landslides. As such, the project site
would not be at risk of downslope flooding. Furthermore, Section X, Hydrology
and Water Quality demonstrates that the proposed project would be
equipped to handle peak flooding scenarios. Therefore, there are no
environmental effects that are peculiar to the proposed project. The
proposed project would not result in a new or more severe adverse impact
that was not previously identified in the Housing Element Update FEIR.
Conclusion
With regard to Wildfire, the Consistency Checklist demonstrates that:
1. No peculiar impacts related to the proposed project or its site have
been identified.
2. There are no potentially significant off-site and/or cumulative impacts
which were not discussed by the Housing Element Update FEIR.
3. No substantial new information has been identified which results in an
impact more severe than anticipated by the Housing Element Update
FEIR.
4. No mitigation measures would be required because the proposed
project’s specific impacts would be less than significant.

Mitigation Measures
None.
