The <br />goal is to enhance reliability and ensure continued <br />operation during utility power outages. This project is <br />included in the City's Water System Management Plan <br />as project SP -2. <br />Project Funding <br />Project Justification: <br />PG&E has implemented a Public Safety Power Shut- <br />off program to reduce the threat of wildfires that <br />results in an increased risk of simultaneous utility <br />power outages at the City's water pump stations. <br />This project improves the reliability of the City's <br />water system emergency power systems to keep <br />pump stations online during utility power outages <br />and will comply with air quality regulations. <br />Water Replacement CIP 421 $590,000 $610,000 $1,660,000 $1,600,000 $1,660,000 <br />64 City of Pleasanton Capital Improvement Program • FY 2025/26 - FY 2029/30 <br />
