ATTACHMENT 1 RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AUTHORIZING STAFF TO ACCEPT THE TRANSPORTATION FUND FOR CLEAN AIR GRANT FUNDS FOR PLEASANTON CITYWIDE TRIP REDUCTION PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEARS 2024/25 AND 2025/26 WHEREAS, the Alameda County Transportation Commission, as Transportation Fund for Clean Air (TFCA) Program Manager in Alameda County, programs 40 percent of TFCA funds collected in Alameda County, and then distributes these funds on a reimbursement basis to eligible project sponsors; and WHEREAS, the Pleasanton Citywide Trip Reduction Program Grant application is eligible for grant funding, which will be used to provide education-based and incentive-based programs that promote alternative transportation modes (transit, walking, biking, carpooling), including Travel Demand Management programs, and projects that provide a direct or indirect financial transit or rideshare subsidy. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. Authorizes the City Manager to accept the Transportation Fund for Clean Air grant funds for the Pleasanton Citywide Trip Reduction Program in the amount of $85,000, as referenced in Exhibit A, and execute all necessary documents required by the grant program. SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on May 20, 2025.
